Over view

Arran distillery founded Arran island in 1995. It’s southwest.

In comparison to the other distillery, Arran is a new distillery.

Also, as it is selling various types of whisky, Maybe you can try to drink them to whiskies flight.

I introduce whisky aged in 17 years by Hogshead barrel to you. It’s cask strength.

I think this whisky tastes balance, rich and moderate sherry, as alcohol content is high.

It has a good balance of peat, sherry and salty flavor.
Also, it smells natural sweet and flavorful.

In short, it is seldom artificial sweeteners, and it’s very rich. 🙂

Considering taste and price, I think This whisky is very good.

Personal episode

A barman recommends [Arran Madeira Cask Finish] to me when I went to a bar to Shinjuku that the barman recommends [Arran] series to a customer.
I talked a barman to Kagurazaka about this thing. And the barman recommended this whisky to me.

As [Arran] was a relatively new distillery, I have listened to a rumour someone criticizes this.

But, as twenty years have passed since this distillery was founded, I think someone gives [Arran] a good evaluation now. 🙂

In short, I like [Arran]. 🙂
Probably, I thought Twenty years ageing might be one of the criteria. :O
