For James Chivas, there were two fundamental principles of blending: ‘old, mature stocks and a distinct Speyside accent’. Master Blender Colin Scott adheres to those same principles today, with whiskies at least 12 years old with a generous measure of Speyside malts.

Personal episode
I bought this at near the store when I have never been a bar.
I used to drink the whisky at home but not now as I came to go to a bar and I often drink single malt whisky. [Chivas Regal] or another blended whisky was one of such a whisky.
At such time, I drunk [Chivas Regal Mizunara] was made as blended whisky when I didn’t go to an authentic bar but a local bar.
I thought: “Chivas Regal? Blended whisky? maybe so good!!
Maybe you can try to buy it because the price is inexpensive.
