It tastes rich anyway. very rich and smooth. the sweetness is not so much nectar as fruits.
it tastes very smooth and tree scent.
In comparison to [Yamazaki 12year], very elegant, well-balanced.
On the whole, 18year is richer than 12year. The dry taste like strong alcohol is so small it hardly exists because it tastes very rich. But that is not to say it don’t dilute this with water. In short, it’s very rich!! 🙂
You should drink this anyway!! 🙂
Personal episode
I hardly knew a Japanese whisky except for [Yamazaki 12year]. Then, I didn’t know some Japanese whiskies as I begin to drink many scotch whiskies. As I drunk many Scotch whiskies, I was interested in Japanese whiskies. Cuz I was born in Japan. I thought I should drink them. 🙂
So, I drunk [Yamazaki 18year] I had already drink in the series.
I was surprised to drink it though it tastes very smooth and rich. I thought Japanese whiskies are only balanced but this is different from them.
If you have drunk Japanese whiskies yet, you try to drink this whisky at the beginning. That’s how much I recommend you to drink it. It’s delicious!! 🙂
